Paddy O’Quigley’s 0.5K Winter Dash

Paddy O'Quigley's and the Brian M. Anselmo Foundation hosted a fun event called the 0.5K Winter Dash—just once around the building! The proceeds benefited the BMA Foundation and its work with children's causes. With the help of sponsors and over 100 runners, more than $4,600 was raised.

Leawood’s Lunar New Year Celebration

An evening ushering in the Year of the Rooster was celebrated at Blue Koi in Mission Farms January 29. This annual event celebrates the Lunar New Year and the Sister City relationship between Leawood and I-Lan, Taiwan. It was a cultural exchange of entertainment, food and friendship.

State of the City Address

The State of the City Address is a speech given by Mayor Peggy Dunn to address the City of Leawood. Several guests received special recognitions from the mayor. The event was held January 31 at The Lodge at Ironwoods Park, and lunch was catered by Bo Lings.
