Home is where
my heart is!

How blessed are we to live in a community of picturesque neighborhoods with homes and lawns and gardens that are well-maintained? Where people take pride in their homes? I find so much joy in living in a town where there are great parks and public spaces with fountains or public art and even parks for our dogs.

Legacy Flooring

Mike Eddings and his staff could show you thousands of tile choices if you’re so inclined. But they’d rather not do that. They’d rather listen first, so they can understand what you need and what you want your space to look like. Remodeling a Room is a Form of Time Travel

With every shower I took, I experienced the sensation of stepping into a time capsule. The Lexus RC 350 is a High-Styled Sport Coupe

The 2015 Lexus RC 350’s 306-horsepower V-6 delivers a satisfying kick in the pants, the handsomely proportioned coupe body exudes performance and the cockpit-style interior surrounds you with comfort. But the “spindle” grille that looks a bit like a scowling catfish leaves me cold.

Homes that Cook

When Lettiann Southerland first arrived in Kansas City, she was desperately homesick. Leaving her home and family in Pennsylvania was a little more difficult than she believed it would be. Like many of us who have faced relocation away from our roots, she missed the family dinners, the wine and appetizers under the grape arbor, the laughter and the closeness…
