Restoration Emporium 
opens new location at the Country Club Plaza in historic Plaza 
Theatre building

Restoration Emporium, a curated boutique of farmhouse, urban chic, vintage-inspired gifts and Magnolia Home by Joanna Gaines furniture and accessories line opened their new location at 4704 Wyandotte St. on the Country Club Plaza.

The Plaza Theatre once occupied this location from 1928 to 1961. Restoration Emporium transformed the historic building into a new shopping experience unlike any other Restoration Emporium location while keeping the integrity of the Plaza Theatre.

You can visit Restoration Emporium on the Plaza from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Braden’s Hope to Hold Annual Gala

Braden’s Hope For Childhood Cancer is a 501(c)(3) whose mission is to raise awareness and funds for research grants to hospitals and research institutions in the amount of $100,000. Grants are given in the amount of $100,000 rather than smaller amounts because it makes a sizable difference for research and grants. Their mission is to raise awareness and fund research grants to find treatments and cures for childhood cancer.

The organization’s Sixth Annual Hope Gala will be held September 23 at the Overland Park Convention Center.
