Once again reading your magazine is wonderful, I cannot wait to get it every month! I read your editorials and you are so right on this month [with your arts issue.]
Is important to me to read articles like yours and issues that remind people about the arts. As artists, we create with our own hands and heart things that do not exist. That is unique. We want to tell children who dream of being an artist that it is possible and that they can make a living just like everyone else.
Thank you so much for a great arts issue, editorial and all the support. — Majo, Leawood, KS
Thank you so much for your support of Leawood Rotary’s 2009 Bids for Kids auction. Thanks to your generosity and the hard work of many volunteers, the event was a huge success. While the figures are still preliminary it appears that we had our best year ever and raised more than $75,000 for our charities. — Kathy Rogers
