Wedding Announcement: Albert-Westerhaus

Karol Angotti of Leawood and Duane Albert of Lee’s Summit are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Elizabeth Mary Albert, to Benjamin Dominic Westerhaus, of Chanhassen, Minn., son of Peter and Denise Westerhaus. The future bride and groom both graduated from Saint Louis University with majors in Biomedical Engineering and are both currently employed as business analysts for Accenture. Ben and Elizabeth met at SLU in their Biomedical Engineering classes. Ben says he tutored her; Elizabeth says he did her homework; in any case, they fell in love. After moving to Overland Park in October 2011, Ben proposed two days before Christmas on a helicopter over the Plaza lights where the words “Marry me?” were spelled out in lights on a rooftop below. She said ‘Yes!’, and the couple is looking forward to beginning their lives together. A wedding is planned for October 20, 2012 at Saint Michael the Archangel Catholic Parish.
